Wedding Packages

The Sunset Inn has room for a large tent on the lawn at the left side of the Inn and can accommodate parking nearby. We have an approved vendor list of the best services in the area to help make your wedding everything you have dreamed. Our staff is experienced with all the details of creating the perfect wedding!

Facility charge:     50 people or less $1650.00 (-$150 if no alcohol served)
                              50 to 100 people $2150.00 (-$150 if no alcohol served)
 
Note: The facility charge does not include the tent, tables, etc. It is only for the use of our grounds and the Inns time in helping plan the event. 
 
If you plan to serve alcohol we hire a Sunset Beach Police officer to be at the event should any problems arise. If there is no alcohol served at the event you can subtract $150.00 from the facility charge.
 
 
Permit Fee for the tent from the Town of Sunset Beach $100.00
Tent- $750 - $1200 depending on number of guests and size of tent
Tables-  5’ rounds seat 8 at $7.50 per table
             8’ banquet for food, drinks, DJ etc at $7.50 per table
             4’ round for Cake at $7.00 per table
Chairs- White Resin Chair at $2.50 per chair, White Samsonite at $1.50
Table cloths- white twill at $12 to $14 depending on size
Globe Lights- $7.00 per light (Example: 20 lights needed for a 40x60 tent)
Dance Floor- $180.00 for 12x12
Minister- $350.00 more or less depending on the minister
DJ $400.00 to $750.00 more or less depending on the DJ
Portable Toilet $225.00 (required for 50 or more guest)
 

We do not offer a set package due to each event being different in size and needs.


Facility charge does not include the rooms, tent, etc. It is for reserving the Inn grounds for that particular day & event and our time helping plan the event.


All prices are strictly approximate. Prices will vary according to the individual’s needs and any rate changes from the rental company.  


Prices are based on 100 people or less. We cannot accommodate more than 100 guests.


Clean up after the event is the responsibility of the wedding party. All food items will have to be removed that night. Other items can be removed the next day. The Inn grounds should be left clean of trash and debris.


We will be happy to block off rooms for your guests, but we do not give group discounts. 


If alcohol is served, an off duty policeman will be arranged at a cost of $150.00 for the night. This is mandatory. The Sunset Inn will arrange for this.

RETREATS AT THE SUNSET INN, SUNSET BEACH NC

At The Sunset Inn we cater to small groups who wish to have a quiet place for their retreat, whether it is a business group, an interest group, church group or club. A Continental breakfast is available each morning, with a hot dish added, and is included with the rooms. Food for breaks and lunch can be catered in during your meeting. Dinner can be catered or you can enjoy one of the many fine restaurants nearby. There is a meeting room onsite or we can arrange for one offsite. We have 14 rooms with king sized beds. The Inn is a five minute walk from the beautiful wide beach and is located next to a peaceful marsh where herons and cranes live.
