An Expanded Continental Breakfast is simply served as buffet style from 8:15-10 am in the sunny lobby each morning.  A specially prepared hot entrée, which varies daily, is served with fresh Baked Breads or Muffins, Cereals, Oatmeal, Yogurts, Boiled Eggs, Bagels & English Muffins, Fresh Fruit, Milk, Juice, Fresh brewed coffee and an array of Teas. You’re on an island, so there are no formalities here. You are free to load up your tray with goodies to start your day. Choose your dining location whether it is the quaint privacy of your screened porch, the open dining room in our lobby, or one of the spacious front porches, with an abundance of island views from any location.

Special dietary needs are happily accommodated. Please advise the staff at The Sunset Inn in advance if you desire a gluten free or vegetarian breakfast.

For the Sunset Inn, the third time was even more charming than the first two. Cheese grits, sausage biscuits, and blueberry bread were among the wonderful dishes served at breakfast. A small bottle of champagne waiting in our room for my birthday was a nice addition. It really is like staying in the room of a friend's southern plantation. What other accommodation gives you outdoor showers to rinse off after the beach and your own storage room to stow your rented bikes?
