The New Year will be arriving shortly and what better way to bring it in than on the sandy shores of North Carolina. New Year's Eve Dinner & Dance at the House of Blues, at 7 p.m., December 31, 2012. Ring in the New Year with a delicious four course dinner and live entertainment by TRU SOL. Ocean Isle Beach accommodationsBroadway at the Beach will host New Year’s Eve Fireworks Display at 8 p.m. on Saturday, December 31. Free and open to the public. Broadway at the Beach is a shopping, dining, amusement and nightlife complex in Myrtle Beach. They offer dozens of bars and restaurants that include everything from Mexican and Italian to fresh seafood. Don't miss the mini-golf course and  BIGD theater or WonderWorks attractions, just to name a few.

A holiday tradition for over 26 years, The Christmas Special brings the spirit of Christmas to life with music, comedy and dance. Referred to as “The Holiday Show of the South,” this show is at the top of every Myrtle Beach Holiday itinerary. The Carolina Opry Christmas Special is the original Christmas show in Myrtle Beach and has been a perennial vote leader as Best Holiday Show in Myrtle Beach. Shows run November 1 through January 5, 2013, with regular evening performances and selectively scheduled matinees.
